Do not attempt to adjust your computer monitor!  The latest addition to "The Lazy Agent Series" was selected because it is an example of why it is not only important to proofread your MLS listings for accuracy but also for the quality of the photos uploaded.  I can only hope that this agent possibly did not realize that the resolution of the photo was too low and had they seen how the photo looked on the MLS, they would have returned to the property to take better quality photos.  Apparently, the seller did not see the photo either.

Anyone new to digital photography should consider spending time learning the basics as it can make the learning curve a little less frustrating.  Kodak offers tips on digital photography and cnet offers an online course on digital photography basics

I think I see ghosts!  Did they disclose that too! :) Nice picture! I'm a new agent and I took my time with my photos. I did leave a can pledge on the table in one pic. :)

Leanne... this is getting as bad as lenders promising mortgages that they can't do. Or not telling the client everything that they need to know. This is sad and pathetic.

My vote?   20....  I know it only goes to 10... but 20....

Wow!  The agent must have taken this from their cell phone camera instead of a digital camera.  I give it a 10!  That is disrespectful to the seller.  Shame on that agent.

Ok, Leanne.  I think maybe I need to start my own series.  Look what I just found in our MLS.  This photo is for a new construction house.  And this is the main photo!!!  So I went to look in Realtor.com and guess what?  It's on there too.  LMAO....Here it is on Realtor.com.  Can you say DUH!!!!!!

This is definetly a 10 on the laziness scale. What a horrible picture. Cell phone pic's are what alot of agents use but this one is really horrible.

This is HORRIBLE!!!  Does this mean that the agent didn't even go back to look at what they loaded??  If they didn't, why not???  If they did, why would they leave this in there???  I'm not sure which scenario is worst!  This one is BAD BAD BAD!!!!

Not sure lazy agent is the right term.  maybe try ambitionally challenged instead.  We must always be politically correct when writing our blogs.  Which is why i stopped called the folks here at active rain the geeks that run the asylum.

I think bad photography & using only one token image, which is a requirement on our MLS, is such a huge diservice to the customer in this day & age.

very funny. I wonder if its possible that the upload did some automatic resizing that went badly. Or maybe the agent saved a thumbnail of an interior photo that had been taken on a previous listing of the property and just reused it. Who knows. Its bad, bad, bad.

I see this constantly here in Atlanta.  It isn't just a few agents, either.  What is really sad is when I see this on a home over $500,000... and even over $1M, and no virtual tour to fall back on. 

Pathetic.   

I actually took a few FSBOs to task for it on my blog a couple days ago.

I'm new to AR and I have to tell you that I loved your series on Lazy Agents...  My favorite photos in the MLS are bathroom toilets with the seat up.  PLEASE.....  I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks about the photos that they are putting out there.
