The RISmedia BETA is coming to a quick end with the launch of the new RISmedia.com site (note, the BETA and main site are two different things!)

I'm throwing a note out here in ActiveRain to let my readers have a last chance at getting in on the pricing structure (when you figure it out on the yearly cost is a lot of $$$ saved.)

If you haven't read about some of what we are doing- visit www.rismedia.info.

I would love to strike up a conversation about new syndication techniques and using search marketing in relation to that. As far as I am aware, RISmedia is the first publisher (of any industry) to offer this technology, combining a dual-ended partnership that connects a website to theirs and drives online search results and provides for branding through an established readership.

It took *many* years of experience from many members of the group to realize what little pieces of the marketing mix had to be assembled, what technical updates had to be made, how to leverage the presence of a pre-existing readership (both offline and online), and bundle everything into a pricing system that worked.

Aside from the real estate industry- I've had a few other industry "thought-leaders" in search marketing, social media and the print industry contact me out of the blue and commend us on creating a new combined distribution model.

Thanks for the support from members here on AR that gave some insight to the problem and who also helped create the solution. The groups, debate, and interaction here covering online real estate marketing were invaluable assets and our staff appreciates the conversation.

I don't know if I can compress the sum of a 20,000 page site and a new product model in a blog post. I'll give it a shot in a the sixty second version:

RISmedia Local is a bundled product that includes the online and offline channels of RISmedia: its nationwide magazines, conventions, and books, the online presence of the RISmedia site, community, and readership (100's of thousands), and online marketing that includes social media development and search engine work by our team. By leveraging the effect of RSS syndication and the amount of relevant articles in RISmedia's archives- a local real estate industry professional (agent, broker, mortgage, tech service, insurance, construction, etc) can sponsor a section of the RISmedia site and gain the benefit of human eyes and the attention it garnishes from the search engines and social media platforms. It is an exclusive product for each area, enabling the sponsor to syndicate the articles properly from RISmedia and to also author new material for content themselves to help brand them as an expert on whatever niche they would like to address.

That could be local items of interest or it could be how the real estate market is evolving (topics are specific to each client), each sponsor is exclusive to an local area/topic, and be approved by both teams (SocialMediaSystems and RISmedia) RISmedia mainly approves the editorial aspects and SocialMediaSystems  approves the technical aspects (we include SEO work on a site with it, and some sites simply will not show up if they are unwilling to make appropriate changes to benefit from our work.)

To compare it to something you may understand here on AR, it would similar to having the ability of republishing ActiveRain content in a very specific way, and use the mix of articles to provide relevant, high quality content to readers and attract new eyes through search functionality.

I hope that makes sense. It ultimately boils down to branding, exposure, and traffic both online and in the real world.
