"The Beverly Wilshire Isn't the Paris Hilton"                                      61

"The Money Doctor Meets the Real Estate Man"                               71

"American Home Shield & the Home Warranty Business"                  80

"Pourquoi est-ce que je n'ai jamais de vos nouvelles?                    105

I think I understand what you are saying.  I posted something on what a family needs for a beach trip, and it has about 10 times the number of clicks of my real estate nuts and bolts posts.  It is crazy, but makes it evident that people don't necessary like to read informative posts all the time, they like to be entertained.

Looks like the sizzle sells.  As for the post - what was the question?  Maybe you can incorporate some of this strategy in your marketing.  It sure does seem to work for all of us.

Keep up the good work.. Do not worry about numbers remember it is not the quantity but quaility of the clicks you get.

Bill - You might consider writing a real estate blog expecially for ladies with tatoos or considering tattoos...LOL.

Bill- I just started a group on hunting and fishing. I did this because this is something that is important to me. I list a good bit about our industry But, when the day is done there is life after work. I think that the majority of the people that use this site have a healty balance between both. Keep giving good advice. Your knowledge in the industry is priceless. Thanks for contributing.

Well, thanks to you all for your ideas.  I look at some of the things our fellow bloggers have written, and they have a zillion hits and a half a zillion comments.

I think I'm going to concentrate of social issues.  Eyebrow piercings will be next, followed by men with tear drop tatts under the eyes (something to do with having been in prison.)  Then how about a discussion of those goofy looking plastic sandal affairs everyone's wearing now (including my Patty)?

I'm on a roll.  If you've got any more subjects of this nature you'd like to have diatribed, let me know.

Oh, great idea Joan.  I'll bet I can alienate all of the pet owners in less than 35 words.

If I did a search and it said -- This link might save you $10000 on your next home purchase, I would click it, even if I wasn't in the market... but what really matters is how that click through helps us, right?  It's not click rate that matters-- it's conversion

Jo, thanks for liking my insanities.  And Aubrey,  you are absolutely on target.  I don't know what Active Rain blog posting has brought the largest number of readers, but I would think this one on tattoos is up there.

We're now over 31,000! (and climbing).

And each one of those people's presidential vote carries the same weight as yours.  Only in America.

Bill, Bill, Bill. you're a man, now why would a man want to look at ladies tattoos :/ dah  I don't know.  Just keep writing what you have been writing. You are an excellent writer.  We have enough of the other stuff. :) I for one will read what you write.

Well, it's time for the truth.  Roberta is sort of on to me.  I don't care one way or the other if women, men, dogs or gorillas tattoo themselves.  Since I'm not an embalmer and don't ever plan to be, I'm not going to have to try to cover up those wrinkly tattoos when I'm preparing the recently departed for their funeral "viewing."

I was primarily interested in seeing if blogging something outrageous would bring more hits and comments than something written about real estate.

Roberta, I have my answer.  We're at just a bit shy of 32,000 hits on the tattoo blog, and I think the most who have ever looked at one of my other 60 or so blogs is maybe 200.

Well we now know what is most important to people.  I guess it has to do with the real estate of the female body that is more interesting than sticks and stones.

Well, David when I lived down your way I heard one rumor after another that people in Katy have grand senses of humor.

I don't know if your neighbors do or not, but you surely do!  Thanks for adding your two bits on this otherwise silly blog I wrote.
