Monteith Park HomeMonteith Park in Huntersville NCis a great planned community, but seems to get confused with another neighborhood called Monteith Place in Huntersville NC.

It happens a lot when people are searching for homes on the internet they notice a big price discrepancy from Monteith Park to Monteith Place.

Monteith Park is a master-planned Saussy Burbankcommunity in Huntersville, NC just 16 miles north of uptown Charlotte. Monteith Park blends charm and character with architectural design to create a community known for its graceful front porches and wide-open spaces. At the heart of this pedestrian-friendly community is a 30-acre network of parks, walking trails, bike paths and picnic areas. Monteith Park residents also enjoy a clubhouse, a junior Olympic size pool, water-slide, a children's wading pool and a playground. The Town of Huntersville is convenient to the recreation haven of Lake Norman, the Carolinas' largest man-made lake with over 520 miles of scenic shoreline.

Quick Glance

  • Homes from $235,900 to $333,600
  • Townhomes from $174,900
  • Select styles from the Carolina Cottage and the Classic Collections
  • 1,844 to 3,430 square feet

Monteith PlaceIf you are looking for Huntersville homes for sale at a moderate price with a great value and in a good location, then I feel you may enjoy Monteith Place. This is a community boasting their Cottage Collection of homes for sale. Built by Beazer Homes, all homes come with a 2 car detached garage and many different styles and designs to choose from.

As you can see the above picture is of a home in the Monteith Park neighborhood and the one to the right is from Monteith Place subdivision.

The size and price point for the homes are extremely different as well as the master plans of the communities. So when searching for your home understand that they are 2 totally different neighborhoods.

Thanks Connie, but unfortnately they are not my listings just wanted to make consumers aware of the differences when searching. A lot of people get confused because the names are so close.

Hi Mike,

I should have done a blog years ago about the difference between Monteith Park and Monteith Place because I actually bought the first house in Monteith Place in 2004 and we had the most difficult time getting people to understand that we were not Monteith Park!!  We could never get a pizza delivered to the correct neighborhood.  Maybe your blog will help clear things up!  One thing I wanted to tell you is that in addition to Beazer Homes, there were also some homes built by Brentwood Homes in Monteith Place.  There are also a few houses that have no garages and some that have 1 car garages.  Great blog!

I still get them confused Sara. How did they get away with naming them so close? Thanks for the compliment. Hope things are going well for you.

WOW!  Beazer builds here but their exterior style of construction between here and NC is so different!
