In October of 2009 the Average Sold price for homes in Fairfax VA was $410,339 a 25.6% drop in the average sales price as compared to November 2009. This is primarily due to the fact many of the home sales are still distressed sales, the home buyers that are in the market are still basically first time home buyers.
