The New Tampa Noon Rotary Club, which meets every Wednesday at noon, at Circle's Bistro in New Tampa, had the installation of the new President, Allen Ames, on June 27, 2007.

Chuck Lewandowski, now Past President, served as President of the club from 2005-2007.  During his two year term, Chuck led the club to receive the "Most Improved Club", received yesterday.  Chuck has worked diligently to increase membership of the club, awareness of Rotary in the community, and focusing on raising funds for Oasis and the Life Enrichment Centerof Tampa.  After working tirelessly for two years, Chuck turned over the reins to new President Allen Ames.  Allen was sworn in by outgoing District Governor, Ruben Alfaras.  Serving as President Elect over the past year, Allen has been able to prepare himself for his new endeavor.  Allen expects to increases club membership and lead the group in continuing Chuck's legacy in volunteer work.

Allen is currently a branch manager at Regions Bank (formerly AmSouth Bank).  Although he has a busy career, he will be sure to rise to the challenge of Rotary.

Also in attendance, Ruben Alfaras, 2006-2007 District Governor, and Doug Andrews, the incoming District Governor.

Rotarians are concerned with promoting high ethical standards and have adopted "The Four-Way Test"...
