Wordless Wednesday (almost!): Let's Play A-Round!

With temperatures still hovering in the 60s, the weather couldn't be more perfect to golf a round at Sand Hollow Resort. This Championship golf course is located off State Highway in Hurricane, Utah and is open to golfers year 'round! So, let's play a-round!

Sand Hollow Resort was named The GOLF Magazine's Best New Courses of 2008. Sand Hollow Resort consists of two stunning John Fought Design courses, utilizing the areas natural rock formations, cliffs and panoramic views. AMAZING! It also includes an 18-hole Himalayan-style putting course.

It has been a warm November, hasnt it? I just posted a picture from a hike I did this weekend, 70 degrees when it should be close to freezing... it has been an odd year

Great view. I think I could be encouraged to play a round there!

Ha-ha! You're right Nevin, I need to get out more! And yes, Utah has the greatest snow on earth but you have to travel 3+ hours form southern Utah to enjoy that!

Wanda - what a beautiful view!! Living my whole life in Florida where everything is FLAT....(almost flat), I am always amazed at mountains.

Wanda, my wife and I visited the Colorado Plateau in 2003 and loved it, what a great picture. Hopefully we will be back the summer of 2010 or 2011.

If you two are ever in the area Chris, stop and say hi! I'd like that!

Lanre, Take some lessons and get out on the course! It's a great place to meet new clients and can be very relaxing as well! You find out A LOT about a person by the way they play this game!

I love the contrast of the red dirt and jutting rock formations with the grass too! Then there's the black lava rock and the green and the red rock! And this picture was taken with a Kodak Easyshare camera that's 4 years old! I can imagine the pictures you could take with your camera Debi!

Gabe, I play this course best when I play 'best ball!' It is challenging but well worth the amazing views!
