DS Women's Club luncheon will take place from 11:30-1:00 at the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit. DSWC's Holiday Marketplace will feature local merchants and artisans booths. THURSDAY- NOV 19th HC Senior Citizens Activity Center hosts ANNUAL MEXICAN SUPPER
The Hill Country Senior Citizen Activity Center will hold their annual Mexican Food Supper - 5:30 to 7:30 - Tickets can be purchased at the door - $5.00 Adult and $2.50 under 12 - This year we are having THE BIGGEST BAKE SALE ever. There will be pies, cakes, cookies and candy for your Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. All money from this fund raiser goes to support the meals at the Center. We serve between 250 and 260 meals a week.

FRESH THANKSGIVING TURKEYS:
Ann Dignan, raises a crop of free range turkeys every year. They are field butchered and dressed on Nov. 21 and need to be reserved. Pick-up is Saturday Nov. 21 after 4:00pm at her place on County Rd. 165 near the divide going toward Blanco. For more info or to reserve a turkey, call her 830-833-0821. They will be $3.50 per pound. They are big this year.

Great localism post. I love all the food drives going on at this time of year. Wish the donations could stay steady all year long!
