DIARY OF THE UNBORN

By
Real Estate Agent with Weichert Referral Associates

Anyone who knows me even in passing has a general Idead about my feelings on the murder of the unborn. Today is was reading through some sermons from Dr. Ray Pritchard from KeepBelievingMinistries.com and I came across this imaginary Diary of an unborn child. I found it very touching and wanted to share it.

Diary Of An Unborn Child

Our greatest problem with abortion is that we have a hard time seeing the unborn for what they are-real people being put to death. It helps if we understand that what is being aborted is not a fetus but a real person-a little girl with blonde hair and sparkling blue eyes or a little boy with freckles and a dimple. If only we could see the unborn as people just like us, we would know the truth about abortion.

This is called "Diary of an Unborn Child." It is imaginary, yet full of truth.

October 5 - Today my life began. My parents do not know it yet and I am as small as the seed of an apple. But I am really here. And I am glad to be a girl. I shall have blond hair and blue eyes. Just about everything is settled, even the fact that I shall love flowers.

October 19 - Some say I'm not a real person yet, that only my mother exists. But I am a real person, just as a small crumb of bread is truly bread. My mother is. And I am.

October 23 - My mouth is just beginning to open now. Just think, in a year or so I shall be laughing and later talking. I know what my first word will be: "Mama."

October 25 - My heart began to beat today all by itself. From now on it will gently beat for the rest of my life without ever stopping to rest.

November 2 - I am growing a bit every day. My arms and legs are beginning to take shape, but I have to wait a long time yet before I can hug my mommy and daddy.

November 12 - Now my fingers are beginning to grow. Funny how small they are. I'll be able to stroke my mother's hair with them.

November 20 - Today for the first time the doctor told mom that I am living under her heart. Oh, how happy she must be. Are you happy, Mom?

November 25 - My mom and dad are probably thinking about a name for me. But they don't even know that I am a little girl. I want to be called Kathy. I am getting so big already.

December 10 - My hair is growing. It is smooth and bright and shiny. I wonder what kind of hair mommy has.

December 13 - I am just about able to see. It is dark around me. When mom brings me into the world it will be full of sunshine and flowers. But what I want more than anything is to see my mom. Do I look like her? I hope so.

December 24 - I wonder if mom hears the whispering of my heart? Some children come into the world a little sick. But my heart is strong and healthy. It beats so evenly: tup-tup, tup-tup. You'll have a healthy daughter, Mom.

December 28 - Today my mother killed me.

Something to think about.

Touching tale, Hugh.  Thank you for sharing.

As you know, we differ a bit on this issue.  You believe in "choice" - using the dates from your story - up until Oct. 5th.  I would extend it to Oct. 19th - for reasons I've stated elsewhere.  But we're in very close, if not complete, agreement, as far as I can tell, with regard to "choice" on any dates after Oct. 19th.

Hello Hugh... as SAD as this story is, the BETTER news is that the child has ETERNAL life in safety... never ever remembering the torture of their death, and someday when or if the mother is reunited, her grieving will also be over for the JOY that they will be BOTH be consumed in.  Thank GOD this present life is only temporal, and thank GOD there is forgiveness of sin... even murder.

Hugh, if we're all going to be forgiven anyway, even murder, doesn't that mean we can abort more?  The thought is very disturbing to me.

Hugh, Did you see the interview on Fox News with the gal who use to work for planned parenthood?    She was over one of their clinics and quit when she helped with an abortion.  She actually saw the baby trying to get away from the forceps or whatever they used.  Very sad indeed!

Yolanda:  IF you were referring to MY comment... the purpose of it was NOT to glorify death but to celebrate life... Those that i minister to who grieve are not seeking to abort again.

Yolanda and Diane - You're reminding me of something I read a long time ago that's a bit similar.  Check it out here.

Diane - "Those that i minister to who grieve are not seeking to abort again."  I'm happy to hear that.  I'm first to admit that I'm not as well versed in the Bible as you and David, but make no mistake, my moral compass is true.

Thanks.

Yolanda - I don't think Diane was questioning your moral compass, and I know I wasn't.  My point was not to brag about or flaunt how well versed in the Bible I am, but rather to say your interaction with Diane reminded me of something... along the lines of "just because someone can find good in an awful situation, that doesn't mean they are (or we should be) wishing for more awful situations in order to try to find some more good."

I wish you BOTH all the best.

David:  You remind me of a wonderful friend who i refer to as a "diffuser"  She has such wisdom, and is capable of seeing all sides of a situation and intervenes accurately, creating peace, clarity, and understanding.  I appreciate her greatly, and am grateful for what you have done here. Thank you.

Yolanda:  I did not come seeking to find fault when i placed my thoughts here which were directed to the author of the post.  Hugh and i have shared outside of Active Rain regarding abortions , and i believe he knows my heart on this.  If someway what was written seemed to you that i am FOR abortions, those were not the intentions i wished to convey.

Regarding the grieving women who chose unwisely when they were younger:  They, like many of us are trapped in the guilt of irreversible decisions that a loving GOD desires to free them from.  This is what i was referring to.

Ladies,

I consider both of you friends, the problem as I see it is that  our generation grew up in a culture where abortion became to easy and there were too many supposed smart people teling us it was ok. My heart goes out to any young girl that made the decision based on poor advice, who now regrets the decision. And yes I do believe make that "Know" there is forgiveness and salvation for anyone who repents and asks Gods forgiveness. My real problem comes with forgiving the Drs that knew better. The educated men and women who knew what they were doing. Since God is allot more forgiving than me I believe even they can be forgiven with repentance but for the ones that don't I hopwe thereis an extra hot spot in Hell.
