MatterhornWell - perhaps not every mountain!  But - there are challenges galore out there in our industry - and for every perceived "problem" there is a solution - it's just a matter of identifying the solution.  Those "mountains" provide opportunities for those up to the challenge - which I would hope would be most of us in the real estate business as it demands a certain "entrepreneurial spirit" and sense of adventure to get into the business in the first place.

I'm not sure I'm in good enough shape to climb EVERY mountain - so I pick and choose those that look like ones I can climb, or are of interest to attempt even if outside of my comfort zone, and do the best I can.

How about you?

Our mountains on Oahu are not as tall.  The summer I am planning to do some hiking and climbing.

Randy - If they are not as tall that gives you more time to climb more hills!

Duke and I climb the 5% grade of the field out front every day at least once.

In reflection on your choosing the mountains; there are just too many to climb all of them well.  My kids went to a small school where almost every kid had to be on the team to even have one.  There came a time when kids had to make a choice about whether they would do music, sports or other things.  One teacher spoke at an assembly about how it was so sad that they had to choose and couldn't do everything.  I took them home and said "be so glad for the lesson you have learned today.  There will be times of choice.  All of the options will be good ones.  But, you will only be one person with so much time and energy; you will just have to choose one and not whine about the others."

Do the Due Dilligence and Don't be Afraid to make a DECISION with passion .  The climb levels after awhile.

Yep, pick and choose would describe me as well.  If it's above my knowledge level and I know I don't want to give the deal the proper amount of energy to learn all I need to cover my client, then I'll pass.
