As a roller coaster buff, I am always on the lookout for another great ride. The Intimidator, coming to Carowinds in the Spring of 2010, looks in a word......awesome. Check out this link for a virtual ride, as well as the stats and specs:

This coaster uses Dale Earnhardt as inspiration. Check our the seating as well as the details on the first drop. 217 feet! I think my only complaint is no loops or barrell rolls (my favorite ride experiences), however the 3 minute plus ride time should make up for any minor complaints.
It looks like Carowinds has a winner on their hands, as I will definately make a trip out there to get a front seat ride.
