Hello, this is my first time to blog so I am going to give it my best shot. My name is Darlene and I have been a real estate agent since Jan. of this year. I love it!! I have 10 listings and one sold as of a couple of weeks ago.
My first experience helping a buyer started off pretty good. I worked with them for 4 days driving them around for hours and miles. I enjoyed that I got to know them a little better and I felt good that I was going to help someone find a new home. Well finally they found a house and they put an offer in and we went back and forth a few times on the counteroffer. Now this was based on their house selling and they had their hopes up that they had a buyer. Well about the time our last counter offer was finally accepted by the seller, my buyers found out that the person that was going to purchase their house backed out on them. They got all frustuated and called the whole thing off, and decided to stay where they were. which I could not blame them. They were real nice folks, they wrote me a referral letter, thanking me for all my hard work, and when they got ready to resume their house hunting they would definatively contact me to help. They lived in another state not far from here just over the state line any way I just felt bad for them because of seeing disappointment on their faces instead of a smile. hopefully I will be able to help them in the future and help others out there ready to find a home or ready to sell! I do work full time and I consider my self to be a go getter and a hard worker. Until next time thanks for reading my blog.
