For 10 years and 237,000+ miles, I drove a Jeep Grand Cherokee. It was my favorite vehicle EVER. However, the gas mileage was awful... 15mpg. In December 2008, I rolled it on black ice. : (
The next nine months I drove a Ford Ranger pick up, that had only slightly better gas mileage, and just wasn't me. Along comes a Tow Truck on I90, he apparently liked the spot I was in because he joined me. Very fast! Slammed my truck into the cement divider and that was all she wrote for the Ranger.
NOW, I'm driving a Ford Escape Hybrid (2006) that is getting about 30mpg!
It is a nice feeling knowing I am saving money and doing a little something for the planet!
