The SPCA Suncoast of New Port Richey held a Ribbon Cutting event with the West Pasco Chamber of Commerce to celebrate the remodeling of their cat quarters. The ribbon cutting was held on Thursday, November 19, with the Ambassadors of the Chamber, many volunteers, workers and friends of the SPCA. The new kitty quarters are wonderful with rooms that the cats can stay in rather than cages. Lots of toys and climbing perches are found in each room. You can go into the room, sit with the kitties and play with and pet them; get to know your new pet before you take them home. That is Gail Armstrong of the SPCA Suncoast cutting the ribbon. The SPCA Suncoast does not receive any public funding and relies on the community to help. Food donations for dogs & cats are always welcome. Volunteers are welcome to come and pet or excersize them too.
New cat rooms; light and bright with lots of things to play with. Prospective parents can visit with the cats in each room. The old cages can be seen also.
