Purple Princess Flower

Purple princess blue hues.

Santa Rosa, CA November 2009

Taken with iPhone3Gs

I'm a transplanted Minnesotan who loves gardening more than shoveling snow. I also prefer short sleeves to parkas and swimming to ice-fishing. Come visit Sonoma County in the winter and you'll see what I mean. Our Healdsburg Sotheby's International Realty office gets traffic from visitors from all the lovely snow-covered parts of the country. Last year was great for Illinois residents visiting Sonoma County. Chicago attorneys really seem to love Healdsburg.

My father and Step mother lived in Santa Rosa for a few years, it is absolutely beautiful! I visited them more when they lived there as I liked the area so much, being between Sacramento and San Francisco is a great location. And the wineries are soo much fun!

Dave, I love the way you've integrated the iphone's camera into your blog. I think I better upgrade, my phone takes terrible pictures. They look like your in the fog!

Anthony. I've got a Panasonic Lumix that I love, but I've been blown away by how good the new iPhone 3Gs camera is. It also takes great hand held video.

Dave what a stunning flower! We clicked on your blog and this gorgeous blue (we know they call it purple but it appears blue on our screen) just popped! Wear can I find a shirt that colour!

Al  and Peggy, it looks blue to me too in that picture. It's called Purple Princess and usually it looks more purple. The November light today probably shifted the hue a little. Here's another one that shows the purple a little better. I will call this one my Al and Peggy shot:
