Gulf Gate Sarasota

Looking for something more affordable and within a bike ride to the beach? You should take a look at the popular Gulf Gate community in Sarasota, Florida. The homes were built in the 1950's and 1960's. The neighborhood has kept their deed restrictions and it has a strong sense of community. There really aren't any newer homes to speak of. However, you can find a great home that has been remodeled. It would be a long walk to the beach however you could ride a bike. I used to live in the neighborhood and my wife and I would ride our bikes to the beach frequently.

Below is a map showing the proximity to Siesta Key beach. See Gulf Gate Estates on the main land and where Stickney Point crosses over to Siesta Key. It is very fast to access the beach. So if you have a budget of under $200,000 yet you still want to be able to get to the beach quickly you should put the Gulf Gate community on your list.
