So "Our Vail Ski Home" is back up and running again. I was using the iweb authoring tool that came with my mac. Either I was doing something wrong or the blog just became too big. Either way it wasn't working so well. So I've done some research and decided on Tumblr. I know Wordpress is awfully popular, and I already have a non-real estate blog on blogspot. But Tumblr seemed like the right choice for my business blog. The interface is awfully easy to use. The iPhone app is great. And with a bit of HTML customization I was able to add some useful links. I thought about paying the active rain outside blog service, but there wasn't enough samples, or I couldn't find them to justify the expense.
On Tumblr I've installed google analytics and a contact button. I guess the big question will be to see what kind of response I'll get via the search engines.
I'm curious to know if anyone else is using Tumblr......
