I have noticed lately that our team gets alot of rudeness/ attitude from other agents in our area. We sat down and tried to figure out why? We were surprised at what we found!

The only agents that seem to have a problem with us are long time agents that have been in business 30 plus years. So why do they seem to have a problem with us?

Before our team first formed we got along well with many of them and nothing has changed today. We still give courtesy and respect to all our fellow agents in the field. So what did we discover?

These select few  longtime agents all run their business the same! You coldcall, get referrals, hold open houses, door knock and place their listings on the mls and a personal website if they have one, thats it.

Our team is known for thinking outside the box! From our mailers, print advertising, expired and fsbo programs and our Internet lead generating. We have even held a 72 hour open house with professional catering. Many agents have asked us to stop! Their clients are complaining to them that they don't do as much as we do with our clients. Its making them look bad!

We found alot of these agents started getting really hostile towards us. Alot of agents have now told us that we should not rock the boat and do things like the rest of us. We were shocked!

WHATS THE RESULT?          WHAT SHOULD WE DO NOW?

We will do NOTHING!

Business is always changing, how we run our business needs to adapt to the changing market and times. You can't just put a sign on a lawn and think you are a Realtor. We need to take up new technology's and think outside the box on when where and how to advertise ourselves and our listings. We work for our clients. THEY ARE KING NOT US! We serve our clients and if we are not doing everything we can to help our clients then we are in the Wong business. When we see more and more of our clients coming to us from some of these agents WE KNOW WE ARE DOING SOMETHING RIGHT!

its only a matter of time! If you look back at any animal that could not adapt to their ever changing surroundings you will find over time THEY BECOME EXTINCT!
