OK guys I got the iphone. YEAH!!!!! Now I got the 4 gig the 8 was sold out by the time I got to the front. So I will let you all know how it is when I open it up and play with it for a little while. I'm so excited. I ordered the 8 gig for my husband. Hopefully I won't have any problems with it. So tell me did anyone else get it today???

How long was the line at the store? Stores in Charlotte have had people camping out to buy the things.

I got there at 6:15 and was home by 7:30. Not bad considering how many people have been waiting for days and hours.

Waited about 45 minutes to get into the store. Then it took about 10 minutes. It wasn't to bad.

wowee -- here the line was wrapped insanely all around the mall - people even had lawn chairs and were waiting upwards of 10 hours. I figured I'd get it when they work out the initial bugs (although I guess that's more MS style, not Apple) and when they ship it in colors. I figure if I'm going Apple, I'm personalizing.... anyway, keep us posted - good for you that it only took 45 minutes!

Will do. What i find the most cool is when im on the road my phone beats everytime i get a message. Whether it be from here with comments or someone sending a message from facebook or work email, and being able to respond from it.

I was also listening to the ipod from it and when the phone rings the ipod turns off and when you hang up the ipod turns on. The internet is pretty good. I know alot of people were saying it would be slow, but I thought it is pretty reasonable condisering it has no local network.

I think its worth the money. I got the 4gig, hubby will be getting his soon.

Todd. sometimes they allow you to upgrade early. You can upgrade once a year.
