Alright, who's been looking at my outside local blog?

I was looking through my statistics for my posts and found something very interesting.  The top number of views and clicks from the posts I have made came from my outside local blog. And the numbers were not even close.  My blog titled Schools in Ellensburg Washington has the most views with just at 400 with nearly 300 clicks. Somebody has been looking at my outside blog.......hmmm.

Of course I have never had a featured blog, I am sure that is purely political, but still, don't know what kind of views and clicks a featured blog would produce, but the second highest views and clicks come from my outside blog too.  Hiking the Ridge trail near Ellensburg WA has nearly as many views with over 380 views.  And third highest totals come from Fly fishing the Yakima River near Ellensburg WA with over 370 views.  Right down the line, my outside blog has from 2 to 10 times the views of my AR blog.

Okay, so how do you know which views and clicks came from which?

Interesting. So, people interested in local info and not real estate shoppers? Or are they the same?

Deena,

Funny thing is that you don't know where the clicks come from, but based on a comparison of activity between my outside blog and my AR blog, I would say they found it through other channels that AR.  I know this is not your question, but to expand on the thought a bit, the point of the placing the city name or specific geographic item in the title of the outside blog posts is so they show up on specific searches for that specific city or item. If you want someone to find a restaurant, for example, in a search, then place the name of that resturaunt in the title of the post.

Lisa,

I think the answer is local information, but then logic would dictate that someone looking for this type of local information may also be a future client for real estate.

Dean, when I blog about local things and not just real estate I get lots of views. Be sure to make the most of it by including your phone number and a link to your website on each post. That way people can easily contact you, the local expert when they are ready to buy.

This morning I am taking some time to explore what is happening in the the less populated counties of our fair state and came across your blog.  You seem to be the "go to guy" for real estate in Kittitas County. Congratulations.  Your blogs are friendly and informative.  So today I just wanted to say hello and that it is a pleasure to meet you and share an association.  Hope you get to enjoy the Memorial Day weekend....regardless of the weather!!!
