Black Friday.

The holiday shopping season is about to officially kick off this Friday. It's actually started here in my house. I've already logged in some serious miles driving throughout the State of RI and crossed into some of Massachusetts in the hunt to land my 4 year old son a toy he wants for Christmas. The Wow Wee Husky Puppy.

If he wanted the Panda Bear, the search would have ended a long time ago but he wants the puppy and I'll find it for him. 

Concerning Black Friday and shopping, there are currently negotiations going on in my house. My wife is trying to convince me to crawl out of bed super early Friday morning and go stand in the long lines before stores open up in order to take advantage of some crazy deals being offered. I don't want to do it but we'll see where this goes. 

Either way, if I end up shopping at Wal-Mart, Best Buy or somewhere else at 4:30 in the morning, I'll still make it into my Benchmark Mortgage office by 8:30-9 and be plugged in ready to work. Yes, there are DVD players to be bought for $20 and lap tops for less than $200 but let's not forget about the current market for housing and finance. There are some great deals to be had if you are looking for a purchase mortgage or simply looking to replace an existing mortgage with one that offers a lower payment. 

So, if you still want to feel like you've gotten a great deal on Black Friday however want to avoid all the pushing and shoving of crowds. Just pick up the phone and give me a call. (401) 437-2008. The electronics will eventually break or become obsolete but with a reduced mortgage payment, this is a gift you can give to yourself month after month for the next 15, 20, 25 or 30 years!

You are definitely a great father; I miss the day's of trying to find that gift my children really wanted for Christmas. I still can't believe it is almost Christmas. Have a Happy Thanksgiving.

Good luck finding the Wow Wee Husky Puppy.  I sure am glad that my daughter is grown up.  So you are expecting a Black Friday in the mortgage industry; that sounds good to me.  And, careful in those lines, the stampedes have been deadly in the past.

Thank you Pat. With some effort, I'll find the Husky. I've got twins and for a short period of time, my daughter also wanted the Husky. She's since changed her mind and we've already got the Lion Cub tucked away safely in our home. I think looking for two Husky's might have been like "Mission Impossible". :)

Ron, If there are any stampedes this Friday, let them be in my office!
