Best Thai Food In Alexandria Virginia - Mai Thai

Dining at Mai Thai is like taking a journey to Thailand. At Mai Thai, they bring authentic Thai cuisine from different regions in Thailand to you in Old Town Alexandria, VA. The warm atmosphere, attentive service, rich culture and authentic Thai cuisine delivers a spectacular dining experience.

Let me make this a short review. Here is what a review from the Washington Post had to say about the DC location of Mai Thai . . . "Mai Thai is one of those restaurants where you could order nothing more than a glass of water and still feel as though you were having a good time."

Two of my favorites are Honey Ginger Duck -half boneless roasted duck in mushrooms, scallions, and ginger sauce on a bed of steamed spinach. And one of my favorite curry dishes Musaman Curry - Tender beef slowly cooked in a coconut red curry with onions, potatoes and peanut. If you're looking for noodles, they have choose from Pad Thai, Pad Mee, Drunken Noodle and more.
