I never thought that I would have anything positive to say about this terrible site, it has its own vision of values, is a source of misinformation and anti Realtor, (all in my humble opinion)

But

I received a call yesterday on one of my properties, sent the lead to my buyers agent and lo and behold they wrote a above full price offer on a owner occupied home that has a great chance to be accepted.

wonders never cease, next thing ill meet the tooth fairy.

Andrew, I too am no fan of Zillow.  I think you are saying that the property was on Zillow...or maybe the lead came through Zillow?

Thats the way I understood it too!. Zillow is not that accurate but if it brings in business, then you can use the MLS and your own research to get the comps vetted.

Relying on Zillow is truly a crap shoot.  if they have all the data, OK.  If they don't have it all, or they have an address issue, fogetttaboutit.

I have a love/hate relationship with Zillow. Their valuations are awful, but my listings are syndicated there and I do get the occasional lead.

Unfortunately the Trulias, the Zillows and the Realtor.coms are hear to stay.  There SEO power is huge.  As Realtors we need to learn to work with them and not aginst them.  Not saying it is always easy but they do generate a ton of traffic for real estate.
