Great post! I didn't know that about red, I do have my kitchen painted that color!
What is the name of the "color council" that predicts new or popular paint colors for the coming year? I use to know but have forgotten. I think they are out of North Carolina...
Good information about colors and how about accessoring a kitchen in red - does that work?
Barbara, we cannot say it often enough... paint is one of the least expensive and fastest way to change and update a room. Great post. I'm reblogging. Thank you.
Barbara,
Great information about color both in your blog and the article about color. They are right about the violet and deep purple...I see that in all the stores now. Great post!!!
Evelyn, there are several organizations and guru's on color forcasting. I subscribed to several blogs
Judi, thank you for reblogging!
Linda, you are right on :-)
Thank you for visiting and Happy Thanksgiving!
Barbara, great information. It is one of my favorite things to do! Great post.
Ahh, the science of why red appears so frequently in staging projects !!! Great point
Patty, thank you for your feedback :-)
Valesca, red as accent -yes- can work very well.
Love the tip about using red to draw the eye either to or away from a feature in a room!
You said it, Barbara. A little paint well-applied is truly transformative. It makes a difference to buyers when the walls are a soft but warm color, as opposed to all white all over. I've seen it played out in listings of my own.
Kate and Elva, thank you for visiting and Happy Holidays!
