Millard Public School District Honored for Parent Involvement

The Millard Public School district was one of four school districts honored for being able to get parents involved in school activities.  They were honored by Governor Dave Heineman and the Nebraska Association of School Boards.  The Millard District uses parents to help teachers track student character development and measure student progress.  It is just one of the ways the more than 4,000 parents assist the school district as volunteers.    The other school districts honored were Sutherland Public Schools, Cozad Public Schools, and the Kearney Public Schools.
