Mirela,
I have watched it and it is hilarious. I am curious how the White House staff could comment on it. How can you keep putting on your best face again and again.
Happy Thanksgiving
I get the political part. But the sex bit just loses it. Not even close to funny.
I thought I would lol on this one. It is just some of the things we all see but could be better done on SNL.
I agree with Mike. Our relationship with China is sickening enough without the tasteless sexual references.
Worst of it all is ...this video barely scratched the surface of our economic reality.
I am so sick of Obama, that my stomach turns whenever I hear his name. When I first saw a bumper sticker with Obamanation I never dreamed we would see the things we are seeing now. His presidency is truly an abomination.
Alexandria: Obama INHERITED this economy and he hasn't ONCE pointed fingers, made accusations or excuses. He is doing what we all should be doing right now: Navigate this market stoically, without passing the buck or whining about it.
I respect him a great deal. Even so, a little humor is always a good idea in my book. This post is in no way meant as a reflection of my political stance. I poke fun at myself most of all. Life is short; you might as well laugh...
This is not a political blog. It is merely humor. Please let's keep it light! The number one lesson of social media is never to engage in arguments about Religion, Politics or Sex. These are all very personal issues, not to be confronted or debated publicly. And as Forrest Gump so succinctly put it: "This is ALL I'm gonna say about that!"
Mike and Jim: I thought the sex part was pretty sick and I had some difficulty with it myself (at first). It's deranged humor, I know, but it makes the point...
Mirela...We really should taken them all out for dinner and a movie...just think what 1.2 billion movie tickets sold in the U.S. would do for our economy.
Mirela -
Obama did inherit the problems we face. He inherited many of them from George W. Bush, a member of my party whom I have never liked very much. But he also inherited many of those same problems from the leaders of his own party in the Congress.
And most of all, he inherited much of the problems from all of us....in a variety of complex ways.
Jim: It sure would be nice to have less of a disconnect between those who make the laws and spend our money and the rest of us...
Here are some common sense rules I suggest for revamping our government:
As a Politician (any politician: senator, congressman, president) you are:
1. NOT allowed to start wars, or continue them, if you have never fought one yourself!
2. NOT allowed to run our government's business, if your own businesses have failed.
3. NOT allowed to represent hard working people if you have never worked a hard job in your life.
Last, but not least, can we please do away with these committees? You introduce one bill and what comes out after they get done "politicking" it, doesn't even resemble the original...
One more thing: Outlaw lobbyists! Special interest is just that: SPECIAL INTEREST! (special and common are diametrically opposed!!!).
(And as a girl born and raised in a communist country, I am eternally thankful that I can express my views here without fear of being reprimanded or incarcerated! I love this great country of ours, imperfect political system and all!)
Mirela,
Sorry but coming from a military background I was LMAO at that video. Yes the deranged humor hit right home.
On another note I would love to put your common sense rules in stone and make them law. We love it here to and are glad to have you here with us.
