OK to be thankful the day after Thanksgiving?

I must confess, I enjoyed the Turkey my wife cooked, and enjoyed the L-Triphophene low it supplied. As a matter of fact the only thing I did was log onto AR, but fell asleep before writing my "Thankful for" blog.

So I think I can safely say I am thank-ful for the same thing most of are...

One nation under God...

Health...

Wealth...

Wisdom...

Family...

Friends...

Unfortunaltly while reaching out to friends, we learned that the dad has low white blood cell count, and the doctor wants to check for the worst. My prayers are with them. I hope yours are too.

I was going to say jokingly yesterday that I am thankful for finding the last meat thermometer at our supermarket, but after learning of our friend and his family, I was just upset and depressed for them.

Sorry if this is sad.

Hi Judi,

It is not good, but he is taking it very well. It is cancer, I forget the name it is rare, only about 15000 cases a year in US, usually people of older age and has something to do with blood (not lukeimia).
