There’s been a lot of publicity and information posted about the new version of the Homebuyer’s Tax Credit which was just expanded and extended by Congress and President Obama.
The new version includes not only First Time Homebuyers but also folks who own existing homes. The presentation below is from the IRS and explains in some detail about the specifics of how and when you should apply for the series of credits that have been offered starting with the 2008 program, the 2009 program that expires on 11/30 and the new program which goes into 2010.
