I just read a post by Sheldon Neal, 5 Weeks Till Christmas, in which Sheldon chides us - or teases us - to get our magnetic calendars and holiday cards ordered quickly so that we can stay in touch with our clients past, present, and future. Wow - something more to do. And I confess that I did order my magnetic calendars over a month ago - so they are waiting on the floor of my office for me to stuff, address, and mail them out!

This is the year thought that I am going to bake. I am going to make rumballs, and ugly cookies (an Italian recipe) and fudge, and chocolate chip cookies, and then deliver them to past and current clients. It doesn't have to take long - just a little box of cookies, saying that i cared enough to stop by and say hello.

I have my recipes all picked out - now I just need the time to go to the grocery store!

So what will you be baking? or eating?

Ah yes, calendars.  I always wait until it's too late to get a Hawaii photo on it.  Thanks for the reminder, maybe there's still time.

Cooking?  My microwave takes care of that, it's really easy!

That is a great idea!  I can not bake or cook but I think I can make something happen.  It is more personable that sending calendars, ect.  Thanks for sharing.

Hi Lisa - Every year I think I'm going to deliver cookies and every year lately I get busy and don't get it done.  I do send calendars and other such things though, in addition to Christmas cards.  Although it may be cheating, maybe the way to do it is to buy cookie dough and simply cut it into pieces and bake those.  Trouble with that is that I like to print out and include the recipe.  Can't very well say on the recipe card, "First go to the store and buy frozen cookie dough  ..." LOL

Lisa,  I always do cookies and almond toffee.  I'll do fudge if my arm feels strong enough for all that stirring.

I usually bake about 20-25 pumpkin rolls. But, since I had surgery, I'll not be making too many this year.

I used to send cookies and cakes out with my cards that I hand delivered until I heard of an agent being sued, because someone got sick and the health department cracked down on them because it wasn't a commercial kitchen and they were being used for commercial purposes. (What kind of world are we living in when it comes to suing over a good well gesture)
