The staging of the Estes Park Colorado's Christmas Parade is quite the orchestration.  It takes the Estes Park Police Department, the Larimer County Sherriff's Department, and countless Volunteers from the community.

The floats have to be placed in the order that they will appear in the parade dispersing bands, cars, and dancers between the floats.  The West end of Elkhorn Avenue acts as the "staging" area for the parade, but must also maintain traffic flow for the community and the thousands of visitors that come to view the parade.

This 1940's Chrysler "Woody" depicts a picture of an era gone by.  This Chrysler has 47,000 miles on it, and has never left the state of Colorado.  This is almost a Norman Rockwell of a family that drove out to the country to cut their own family Christmas tree.  Placing it on top of the family car, they traverse home to set up the tree, decorate and start the family's Christmas tradition.
