Welcome New Member Chris Brunner - with 3 Features in 3 Days!

Thank you all so much for your positive words and welcome!  I appreciate that even though I am not yet an agent (currently in pre-license course for Missouri) that I have been welcomed with open arms.  I've been here three weeks now and am really loving the AR community. 

A special "THANK YOU" to Rainmaker Lina Robertson who introduced me to AR.  So much to learn and so much to offer, I look forward to many years and many points! 

Keep an eye on my blog, soon I'm going to post a book report on a book that forever changed the way I write for the web including websites and blog posts.  If you write for the web, you MUST read this book.  Another SEO-related post will be up next.

Thanks for the post. I have never heard about a newbie getting three gold stars. that's an incredible start.

Have not yet read any of the blogs written by Chris, but now I will, so good you wrote about him.

Steve made me laugh. With 1,700 blogs in one day (I read this number somewhere on AR) even on a "dry" day there is something good and getting a gold star is not easy even on a Holiday

@Jon... Please don't misunderstand, it's all relative.  Chris' posts were very good and deserved to be featured regardless of posting volume IMHO.  But there was definitely not the same volume of industry related content over the past few days... I think (rightfully) people have been focused on family time and perhaps shopping, so having such good posts did help fill a content void.

@Liz... I don't think I had a single featured post in my first 100 posts.  Some people, like Chris, just seem to find their voice early and string together an exceptional series of posts.  I always enjoy fresh faces on the feature list.

Liz - I subscribed to Chris' blog as soon as I saw his first post as the info in his posts is very useful.

Thanks for introducing Chris. It's great to find talented new writers in time to read all their posts as they are written.

My latest SEO post has been featured making that 4 in a row.  This post covers the topic of speeding up your website so that it loads faster not only for humans but also for search engine spiders.  According to Google's liason Matt Cutts, Google could take load time into account in 2010 so now is the time to start taking load time seriously.

Thanks for the email tips for improving my blog Liz. I do use Picasa but did not know about the text over feature...also after reading Chris Brunner's blog regarding the re-sizing of phtos prior to blog posting i will begin to do that in order to spead up blog loading. Thanks Liz and Thanks Chris!
