My Family's Favorite Hang Out - Our Beach

The summer is finally here and that means lots of family time at the beach. Just a short walk down our street and your there!

At the end of our sometimes long and busy days, my hubby and I look forward to our evening walks on the beach. The sound of the ocean and the birds, and catching up on the days events on the beach is where we hang out.

The weekends are especially fun, when hubby's little one comes over for the weekend. As soon as shes out of the car, shes looking for her beach gear! She can't wait to get down to the beach, we all go together.

We love exploring when the tide is low, the unbelievable treasures we find! Each time its just as exciting as we all share in this together. Little one has her favorite rock, where she lays out her blanket every-time. Hubby & I will set up on the sand and just watch her play at the beach as we soak up the sun.

We love the beach at night, there is something magical about the beach at night. Catch a moon tide or light a camp fire, sit back and relax, its all good!

When it comes to family get togethers the summer is at our home, and the beach is where we gather.

My Mother in-law is an amazing woman, but like a big kid in the water. The grandchildren all around her as they are digging for clams in the sands bars!

So there you have it my family's favorite hang out, the beach.

Great spot to be... Especially in the off season when you have the place to yourself on a moonlit night...

Suzanne, what a beautiful place to enjoy life!! I would love to live near the beach, but Arizona has none. :-) Seriously though, we will be taking a cruise out of New Jersey in September traveling up the east coast with lots of ports and land tours. I am so looking forward to seeing the eastern United States - especially the coastline.

Your beach sounds delightful! Do you ever get to see whales or dophins playing?

Lysa,

We love it here! No dolphin or whale sightings here, that would be so cool! Thanks for stopping by! :)
