Some things are so easy - things slip into place like some unseen power is pushing the chess pieces for us. Oher things take so much work and effort, work and effort, ummm and more work and effort!  So is one meant to be and the other not?

                

When things are going smoothly we feel blessed, when things are rough and stressful we feel abandoned.  But maybe both are blessings?  Sometimes the lesson and the blessing is in the process.

Isn't it a rush when you've been challenged by something only to have it all come together? Testing has it's purpose - it tests our resiliance, it makes our self reliance grow and often builds our faith. 

Even Better?  To know that you can confront and overcome the obstacles in your path gives you the courage to dream bigger dreams.

My dream for 2010 is to get back on track with the extras that I used to provide to my clients.  Between cutting my staff and my budget, I simply had to let some things go.  I'm ready to begin again....it's more fun that way!

I have found that my biggest challenges (aka "opportunities") come in the guise of a problem.  Ultimately things turn out better than they were before it occured.  I learn so much more when things are a little bumpy!

I truly believe that in the rough and testing times are really a blessing (even though it doesn't feel like it) and a "weeding out" of things and a rebuilding time. I'm so looking forward to 2010 and a fresh business plan and setting aside more quality time for me and family. Nice post Liz.

I've still got that half marathon on the horizon if I'd ever stop working so much. I think the lesson with the easy things and the hard things is "FLOW." Some things I swear are just not meant to be, and other things we are destined for. You have to push yourself in the direction of your dreams but don't also be surprised if you end up somewhere else. That's FLOW.
