Dare County Emergency Management has issued re-entry permits to new property owners. If you have not received yours then now is the time to get one. Permits will not be issued 72 hours before a storm is about to hit.

When a storm is threatening to hit the Outer Banks notice will be available on channel 20 and the Dare County website at www.darenc.com and notice of re-entry can be found here also. For detailed re-entry information call 877-629-4386  or 252-475-5655
