It is hard to believe that companies with the way the economy is today would not  be paying attention to their own facebook and other social media pages. I was dissapointed to hear MorningStar Farms will no longer be making the hot dogs or corn dogs.

I found on their fan page on facebook the following comments. Maybe if this shows up on google when searching for the term MorningStar customer service it might show up, you would think that MorningStar would at least check their search results on google and I know ActiveRain has great results on entries so here is hoping. Hey MorningStar just check what is on your faceboook fan page listed here. Find other sites that have reviews for your company that have many entries of customers that might look else where for this choice and might just find another company to spend their monies with.

Linda Pritchett Dempsey OMG....just saw the posting about the veggie dogs!! The sausages are no replacement...and any other brand is NO comparison! How horrible....my 1 year old grandson LOVED them as well. If anyone else knows of a worthwhile brand...please post!!

The only thing close are the frozen Worthington "Leanies." They could pass for hot dogs too but are a little tougher to chew. They are also hard to find. I had to have my health food store special order them and pay $8.25 for package of 9. So they will be a once-in-a-while craving instead of an everyday snack like my beloved Veggie Dogs (R.I.P.--though I'm not giving up.) November 23 at 3:37pm ·

Danielle Billington Yes! Please bring back the veggie dogs! I was stunned when you stopped making them as they were CLEARLY the best tasting veggie dogs on the market. I can't imagine people are buying more broccoli bites than they were veggie dogs! And I cannot find the pizza anywhere either! Now the only products I eat are the bacon, vegan grillers and chick patties.

Shimself Rabblerouser Huge price increases of MF products! Items that were about $3.38 a week or so ago are now $4.19 at one grocery chain. Another chain had increases of almost as much. Something is definitely going on with MF. They are going to majorly lose market share, espec. after axing the veggie dogs/corn dogs and other products.... Kellogg also has supply problems with their Eggo line. What is going on with that company?? It's interesting that Leon, below, claims to have found foreign matter in a product. Why won't Kellogg fess up and tell us EXACTLY what the problems are all about?? Typical corporate stonewalling. Why don't they realize that honesty is the best policy?

Leon Bunker We have been using your products forever! We love the grillers, grilled chicken patties and chicken strips. We also loved the corn dogs - those were favorites and we miss them. Although I do understand the supplier concern - our last box of product had plastic in either the veggie dog or cornbread coating....it was disgusting!

We are sorry to tell you that this product was discontinued.  We understand that you enjoyed Morningstar Farms® America's Original Veggie Dogs, but unfortunately, stores only want to stock the fastest moving products.  If the stores start to discontinue an item, we find we cannot produce the smaller volumes the business demands.  It is always difficult for us to make the decision to discontinue a product, as we know it is always someone's favorite.  At this time, there are no plans to reintroduce it.
