Experience the Cape Hatteras lighthouse in the dark just like the light-keepers did in the past. There are no lights in the lighthouse, except the beacon at the top, so climbing the lighthouse's 257 stairs will be by flashlight. If the weather permits you can walk out onto the lighthouse balcony and watch the beacon of light reaching out to sea.

The tours are limited to 30 people per tour and 2 tours per night at 8:30 and 9:30. Tickets must be purchased in person in advance at the Cape Hatteras lighthouse ticket booth.
