Damascus Md. Townhouse Market Report - Nov 25,2009

This is a market report on the townhouses for sale in the town of Damascus, Md.  The information is taken from the Metropolitan Regional Information System (MRIS) on November 25, 2009.  There are at the time of this report just eight townhouses on the market in this area.  They range in list price from $150,000 to $397,000.  There is another eight under some form of contract at this time too.  Since October 25, 2009 a total of six townhouse were successfully sold.

Two Bedrooms

There are only two two-bedroom townhouses on the market at this time.  The list prices of these homes are $170,000 and $209,000.  They have been on the market for an average of nearly six months (176 days). 

There are two two-bedroom homes under contract at this time.  The last known list prices of these home ranges form $159,900 to $199,900.  The days on market for this homes averaged close to four months (110 days).

No two-bedroom townhouse were closed on since Oct 25, 2009.

Three Bedrooms

The other six townhouses on the market FOR SALE are three-bedroom homes, with one, two, or even three full baths.  The list prices of these home range from $150,000 to $397,000, with the average being $269,482.  The days on market for this set of homes ranges from short of two weeks (10 days) to over six months (195 days), with the average being two months (60 days).

There are five three-bedroom townhouses under contract at this time. The last known list price of these homes ranges from $155,000 to $299,900; with the average being $234,938.  The days on market till a contract was accepted ranged from short of a week (6 days) to over four months (132 days) with the current Realtor, with the average being just short of two months (56 days).
