Who doesn't love a party?!  A few years ago a chef named Lydia Walshin of the Perfect Pantry started an organization called, Drop In and Decorate.  It's a simple thing to do but can pack a big punch for your community members in need.

All you have to do is bake some cookies and invite your friends, neighbors, relatives, etc. to come over and help you decorate them.  Better yet, get them to also bake some cookies and bring them over to decorate.  Then, donate them to your local non-profit agencies who help support those in need.

December 4th is National Cookie Day.  Invite some people over and start decorating!
