rockyDo you want some FREE ADVICE about life?

How about some help for the real estate brokerage business when the market is slow and you're just trying to get things started?

I'm going to give you a glimpse at greatness.  Amazing advice.  Tony Robbins couldn't give it to you this straight.  Zig Ziglar couldn't.  Only Rocky Balboa, the mythical but realistic character, created by Sylvester Stallone, could impart this wisdom.

Hey Brian;

Good post, but aren't you supposed to put others words in quotes ("") or better yet ...block quotes?

Rocky could get ticked and sue...hard to get up from that one...lol!

Good advice.  Just keep getting back on that horse and go for it.  When times get tough for me, I just keep asking myself, "How bad do you want it?  Bad enough to work hard?"  That usually gets me going again.  Nothing worth having is free.

Brian that is a great analogy.....I was in Vietnam and have never look back...much.  I can tell you the images of the young soldiers coming from Iraq remind me every day that we can get hit pretty hard and stand up, move forward.  Life does not always deal everyone the same cards but we have opportunity.  I have both arms, both legs and a great life, I just have a few bumps once in awhile but nothing like other people.  Thanks for the reminder...I needed that hit.

Brian,

This one is so timely for us in the business. For many it's hard to keep on going after being knocked down for the count, picking yourself off the canvas before 10. But stay with it, get up and make the needed adjustments to survive. Finding the right adjustments is often the key to it all.

Wow, I'm not likely to see that movie but, what a great quote. When I was living in Guatemala there was a bar a block away that played the same three songs over and over again till like 4am. One of them was by Jumbawamba and is now permanently seared into my head. I don't know the name of the song but the main lyrics are "I get knocked down but, I get up again. Never going to keep me down"

If you're not moving forward...you are either standing still or going backwards. This was a nice little reminder of what it takes to be a winner! Thanks!

I have a friend who's emails always come over with this quote at the bottom, "Success is how high we bounce back after we have hit rock bottom."  Love the inspiration quotes and posts.  Here's what's right behind by computer which spurs me on.

Thought for the day...

Work --- like you don't need the money

Love--like you've never been hurt

And Dance--- like no one's watching

I can't help but to say the obvious.  "Yo Adrian!"

Hang in there, Adrian.  You'll do just fine.

I rewound this section about 20 times so I could write it down when I saw the movie on DVD.

Tidbits of wisdom are often found in movies...and most often from the strangest, most ironic, of characters.

I love this Rocky line...

Even if he does make more -- he will always be an inspiration
