Air duct cleaning gets a little harder during the holidays...

Every Christmas season we seem to get more phone calls regarding cleaning and allergies (winter is not considered the height of allergy season in Arizona). Well now, researchers have identified one of the culprits - Christmas tree molds. Click on this link to an article to see what I am talking about:

The good news is that there are some things you can do to minimize the impact of any allergens you may bring along with your tree. These include:
1. Hose off the tree before you bring it into the house.
2. Vacuum regularly around the tree (use a hepa vacuum please).
3. Use an artificial tree (not my favorite, personally...)
4. Keep the tree on the patio until right before Christmas (again, not one of my favorites, but certainly works).
