Below you will see a chart that is comparing the Average Price and the Average Days on the Market.  All the area's in Washtenaw County have a longer time on the market.  According to the data the more expensive the house the longer it is going to take to sell.

Chelsea is about 15 miles West of Ann Arbor.

Dexter is about 5 miles West of Ann Arbor.

Manchester is aprox. 10 miles outside Saline and Ypsilanti and Ypsilanti Township is East of Ann Arbor.

Nice graph! It really makes it easy to see the difference in how quickly some neighborhoods move. It can be hard for some sellers to realize their amazing home may sit on the market for several months or longer before the right buyer comes along. I remind them at the listing appointment that more expensive homes will have far fewer qualified buyers available due to our present economy. When the market picks up the DOM may well drop some for these homes. Thanks for the great post!

Those are some long DOMs.  Of course the entry level is the hottest.

Chelsea and Ypsilanti appear to be the same color? Oh no, am i going color blind now?
