Real Estate Advertising I'm sorry to disappoint you but I'm probably not! However, you did open this post and you are reading it aren't you? Yesterday, while i was going through my junk e-mail, i came across one of those power point presentations that somehow gets to you through a list of friends you don't know. This power point presentation had a VERY powerful Advertising message that could help everybody here on AR. The story goes like this (not verbadum): A blind guy sitting on the streets of Paris is begging for money, he has his hat in-front of him and a sign that says " I'm blind" a marketer goes by him in the morning and sees his hat empty, he happens to go by him a couple of hours later and still the hat is empty. The marketer buys a marker, flips the sign around and writes down " It's spring in Paris, and i cant see it". As the story goes on to tell, that day the blind man made more money than he usually did through out the week! So this gets me into thinking, with so much competition out there and so many people using the same slogans or the same tag-lines - is it time to rethink what your communicating to your audience? It definitely got me to re-think my strategy. |
