July 1, 07 (6 months left)

Okay, June is now gone.  We have had 6 months to do something great.  In my case, not so great.  I am not where I want to, or need to be.  We have 6 months left this year to make this a great 07.

What are your goals for the rest of the year?

What short term dreams are you going to hit by the end of the year?

Take your goals for the rest of the year, divide in 6ths, divide that into 4, and divide into 5.  You now know what you need to accomplish your 6 month goal. By having a way to check ourselves daily, we can plan and work on the next day better, to make sure we are where we want to be by the end of the year.  (Notice I dived the week into 5 days.  You need 2 days for yourself and/or your family, every week.  I am a big advocate of this.)

We would love to know your 6 month, monthly, weekly, and daily goals.

My big goal is to get rid of my full time JOB by the end of the year.  I also, this month, need to finish my Finance course, so I can get my unconditional license.  I only have 1/2 a book to do, take the online test, and ship passing paperwork to the DRE.  I will break down the rest later.

Thank you in advance for your posts.  Peace

Earl - thanks for the reminder!  My goals are kind of out of wack as is the market.  I keep sliding my scale back and forth so I won't feel so bad about "being unemployed".  (Smile)

I never give up, so let me share my goal - to close 12 by end of year.  Now being as I have not actually closed one yet, I have allot of busting to do!! I do have a few in the hot water but I do have any money in pocket yet. My fall back is to do other stuff in the meantime to fill in on the finance side, but never put real estate on the back burner, never.  I have helped a great deal of people though giving them my time researching and consulting and that is a self satisfaction - unfortunately no monetary value in pocket, but self.

Yes, I cry allot but not easily.  I keep my faith in tack so that I won't drown in my own tears (hey there's a song from old school called) "drowning in the sea of love" remember that???

Seriously, I do hope to reach my goal and I am open to any suggestions to help me get there. Again, thanks for the tickler.
