Active Rain Gathering on 12/11 in Southern Maryland...Woo Hoo!!

Last year I went to my first Active Rain Gathering that was held in Annapolis. What fun!! I got to meet..in person.. Jeff Bolonger, Margaret Rome, Peg Silloway, Pat Kennedy, Audrey-June Forshey, John McArthur and Lewis Portez before I had to leave for family obligations. It was absolutely awesome to see and talk to these bloggers I had been following here on the Rain.

So why Southern Maryland this time around?? Well, a few weeks ago I met via email an Active Rainer from Southern Maryland, Cheryl Ritchie, quite by accident. The next thing I knew we were on the phone chatting away. Well since then we have chatted many times and this week she told me about an Active Rainer who is coming up from Miami to spend time with her family in Northern Virginia for the holidays. This is not just any Active Rainer but one of our Ambassadors of Active Rain and she and Cheryl had made plans to get together and meet at Stoney's Restaurant. Oh my, this is a perfect Active Rain Gathering opportunity I said so.... Woo Hoo!!

Now if you have not followed Janie Coffey you will now. I hadn't until Cheryl introduced me to her and like all Ambassadors in the Rain she is wonderful so what a delight it is going to be to meet her in person on the 11th.

The party starts at 11am on Friday December 11th. Stoney's Prince Frederick location is where we are meeting. Cheryl has reserved the fireplace room, perfect for a December day in Maryland. It's going to be baby crabcakes for the eats (Stoney's are famous for them) and we will be putting cash in the pot to divvy up the bill.

So now I not only get to meet Cheryl for the first time but I get to meet a Miami blogger and Ambassador too. Woo Hoo Hoo!!. 

There's nothing better than meeting up with fellow bloggers in the Rain so I sure hope you can make it. If you can, just let Cheryl or me know so we can let Stoney's have an idea of how many Active Rainers will be whooping it up in the Fireside Room.
