The Pinecrest Farmer's Market will be open earlier this year, on Dec. 6th, 2009. The location has also changed to Pinecrest Gardesn (the old Parrot Jungle). It is on the corner of Red Road & SW 112 Street. There is plenty of parking here and lots of shade!
The market is being run by my friend Clair, of the Market Company. She runs many local farmer's markets around town, and does a wonderful job! There will be many local vendors, featuring fresh vegetables, organic & conventional, local honey, plants, arts and crafts, orchids and so much more. It runs from 9am until 2pm every Sunday through the winter.
It is a staple for me and my husband. We bring our green bags, do our weekly shopping of organic veggies, have a little breakfast from the local baker's kiosk, visit with our friends and head on home. I hope to see you there!
