With Christmas coming up, I can see where this could be a real problem.

The newest virus circulating is the UPS/Fed Ex Delivery Failure. You may receive an email from UPS/Fed Ex Service along with a packet number... It will say that they were unable to deliver a package sent to you on such-and-such a date. It then asks you to print out the invoice copy attached.. DON'T TRY TO PRINT THIS. IT LAUNCHES THE VIRUS! Pass this warning on to all your PC operators at work and home. This virus has caused Millions of dollars in damage in the past few days.
Snopes confirms that it is real.

Hi Hannah~ I can just imagine the havoc this would promote! Of course at Christmas time when everyone is getting packages delivered! How do people have the time to think up this stuff?

A few years ago I received a similiar e-mal. Knowing that I didn't order anything nor was I expecting anything, I deleted it. Didn't know at the time it was a virus but now I know. Thanks for the warning.

Hannah, this is the main reason that I stay with MAC's. We are not plagued with the viruses that PC users have...

Just general principles- we don't open any attachment we aren't expecting, or any link unless we know for sure who sent it and why. Someone told me years ago- if you receive an email from some company that MIGHT be legit don't open the email link or attachment, instad go directly to the company's web site and check there. If it is really something they are trying to contact you about, it will be there.
