As far as shopping if your looking for those one of a kind gifts about New Orleans go to the French Market. There you can find everything from folk art to Mardi Gras Mask. Now my favorite --Food --, my personal favorite is the Court of Two Sisters, Broussards and the Red Fish Grill.
