I think it's funny that once they extended the credit the market slowed down. I know it's Holiday time but still. I bet there is a rush in april yet again like in November.

Although we have seen a slow down in my local market, competition for homes is fierce amongst 1st time homebuyers.  Other real estate professionals are sharing that they have to put in multiple offers to get a contract accepted.  I imagine this will only increase the closer we get to the deadline.  It's common to submit 3 or more offers before getting one accepted right now.  April will be hectic.
