I always went to Susan Butler's house.  She has a private batge with fireworkds right in front of the house up on Paseo de la Playa.  Kim and I made it there last year, but we're staying in Seattle for the 4th this year.  I don't know who pays for the private barge, a family does it as a memorial to a family member and also distributes music to go with the fireworks to homes in the area.

She usually has a Mariachi band too LOL  A bit incongruous, but fun!  It's up by "rat  beach".  The end of the beach before you get to PV in the Torrance strip.

Hi Kaye,

So much to do in So-Cal, especially at the beach. This year we're decorating our bikes (like the goof-balls we are) and doing a small family bike ride in Huntingon.  Have a great 4th!
