Wordless Wednesday - Take A Long Walk On A Long Pier

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Real Estate Centre Inc., Brokerage

It's December and usually by now the weather has turned cold and the ground is covered with snow.  Not this year.  It was a bright, sunny, almost balmy day today here in Oakville.  A great day to take a walk on the pier at Bronte Harbour.

The boats and the crowds are gone and the calm waters of Lake Ontario sparkled in the sun.  It was a beautiful day to be outside and spend some quiet time taking in the picturesque scenery.

Hi Jenny - It's very quiet on Oakville's piers.  A great time for reflection and for preparing your 2010 plan, eh?  The weather was quite nice yesterday but we got a lot of rain at the other end of the GTA in the evening so my newly installed "rain tires" got a chance to take a spin in the precipitation.

Jenny,

What a great looking place to spend some time. I love anything to do with being around the water.

Jenny -

Your red and white trademark landmark is looking pretty lonesome in these shots.  And the park benches are so sad ...they've turned blue.

Such a peaceful spot for a walk.  The photos make me long for the sound of the waves slapping the shorelines.

Hi Mary - It was such a nice day.  I have no idea where that sign post came from.  It's the first time I've seen it there.

Hi Bob & Carolin - Thanks, yes it's a great spot to hang out and do some thinking.

Hi Marc - Yes we got the rain last night too.  Enjoy your new tires.

Hi Richard - I love the water also but I'm not a boater.  I used to take living by the lake for granted but now I love to spend time there whenever I can.

Hi Jim - Yes they look lonely.  There was nobody there to warm them up.

Hi Brenda - Yes it's a great spot for a walk.  Now if only Lake Ontario was as warm as the Caribbean.

Hi Cheron,  That's great that you are back.  And I appreciate your stopping by to see my photos.

Yvette and Dennis - lol, Lake Ontario isn't a good spot to take that long walk.  Pretty chilly landing.

Hi Debi - I'm not big on crowds so love to explore at "off peak" times. :)

Thanks Marney - I love when the water sparkles in the sun.  Very relaxing.  Thanks for stopping by.

Hi Steve - You're right.  I actually prefer the quiet.  Nobody gets in the way of my shots lol.

Hi Gary - Did you get over to the coast?  I'd love to see some photos.

Hi Debra - That is a really unique sign.  I have no idea who put it there.
